DENVER (March 27, 2025)<\/strong> \u2013 Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, today announced its first-ever safety summit designed to bring together industry leaders, safety professionals and key stakeholders to discuss best practices, innovations and strategies for an elite safety culture.<\/p>\n

An all-day event, the Vantage Data Centers Safety Summit 2025 will be held in Columbus, Ohio, on April 29. Themed \u201cPartnering for an Elite Safety Culture,\u201d the summit will feature expert-led sessions, interactive panels and networking opportunities designed to deliver learnings and new approaches to elevate a safety culture within complex and large teams.<\/p>\n

Attendees will gain valuable insights into safety protocols, risk management and emerging trends, such as strategies for addressing mental health, the financial impact of EH&S and how to build a thriving safety culture. They\u2019ll also learn more about Vision Zero, Vantage\u2019s programmatic approach to eliminating environmental health and safety-related incidents on construction sites and within operating data centers. In\u00a02024, Vantage\u00a0achieved a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of .26 despite a 45%\u00a0increase in hours worked across development projects and operational facilities, far outperforming industry standards.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt Vantage, one of our core pillars is \u2018without safety, nothing else matters,\u2019\u201d said Trey Dean, global vice president of environmental health and safety at Vantage. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to launch this annual safety summit to bring together industry partners and the data center ecosystem to share best practices and actions we can all take to go beyond checking the box and merely being compliant. Instead, our goal is to collectively stretch ourselves to create an elite safety culture unlike any other industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Vantage\u2019s executives and EH&S leadership team, the event will feature speakers from the American Society of Safety Professionals, Whiting-Turner and DPR Construction, as well as an exhibit hall with various sponsors.<\/p>\n
