DENVER <\/strong>(<\/strong>April 28, 2021<\/strong>)<\/strong> \u2013 Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, today announced the completion of phase one of VA12, the second of five planned facilities at its Northern Virginia campus located in the heart of \u201cData Center Alley.\u201d The initial phase of VA12 provides hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises with 16MW of critical IT capacity. Upon completion, VA12 will consist of 32MW and more than 250,000 square feet.<\/p>\n

According to Cushman & Wakefield\u2019s 2021 Data Center Global Market Comparison Report, the Northern Virginia market continues to hold the top global position in overall rankings for the year due to its size, fiber, cost of power and tax incentives.<\/p>\n

The campus features solar and wind energy sources onsite, the first of its kind in Northern Virginia, as well as industry-leading power usage effectiveness (PUE) and water usage effectiveness (WUE).<\/p>\n
