SANTA CLARA, CA – November 1, 2016 Vantage Data Centers (Vantage), a leading provider of data center solutions in support of mission critical applications, has been awarded the rigorous ISO 27001 certification in addition to its current SOC 2 certification. ISO 27001 certification defines the Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards for reporting and monitoring with both annual and three-year review cycles. Vantage meets or exceeds international security standards which brings it on a par with internationally-based data centers.
The certification includes all of Vantage’s Santa Clara data centers and will also include the two new planned data centers, named V5 and V6, to be completed in phases beginning the second half of 2017.
Santa Clara is the ‘Data Center Capital’ of Silicon Valley which itself is the second-largest market for data center space in the U.S. and is home to nearly 2.6 million square feet (SF) of commissioned data center space, representing 337 megawatts (MW) of commissioned power according to market research from datacenterHawk.
