Raymond Tong serves as president of Vantage Data Centers, APAC where he leads strategy, expansion, operations and growth opportunities across the region. With more than 25 years of business management and operations experience across industries, Tong is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving growth and building high-performing teams.
Prior to joining Vantage, Tong served as the chief executive officer and executive director of the board at SUNeVision Holdings Ltd., one of the leading data center providers in Hong Kong. Tong transformed the company’s market position by expanding its service offerings, strengthening its connectivity and data center ecosystem, and building close relationships with customers, resulting in an 80% revenue increase and a 90% EBITDA increase during his five-year tenure.
Before joining SUNeVision Holdings Ltd., Tong served as the chief operating officer of Hong Kong Maxim’s Group where he was responsible for overall growth and executing the company’s Asian expansion strategy. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and has since held various leadership roles across multiple industries.
Tong attended the University of Pennsylvania where he completed the Management & Technology Dual-Degree Program, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in economics and engineering with honors.
