As senior vice president of procurement, Bob Bruning is responsible for setting Vantage’s procurement strategy and leading all aspects of procurement processes globally. His scope includes the procurement of construction equipment and services, facilities management, and corporate indirect. Bruning brings a wealth of experience working for Fortune 500 companies to transform and elevate procurement operations.
Before joining Vantage, Bruning was chief procurement officer at CBRE, leading an organization responsible for $50 billion annual purchases of equipment and services related to construction and facilities management. Additionally, he has held senior supply chain roles in manufacturing, building materials and management consulting where he gained experience across multiple industries and operating models.
Bruning is passionate about ESG topics including responsible sourcing, promoting ethical procurement practices and reducing carbon emissions within the global supply chain.
He received his MBA from the University of Michigan Business School and his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Clarkson University.
