Milan II Data Center Campus Overview  

Vantage’s MXP2 data center campus will feature state-of-the-art electrical infrastructure to maximize efficiency and reliability. The campus will offer N+1 redundancy across critical systems, all supported by a world-class in-house operations team ensuring uninterrupted uptime. 

• Power will be provided by Duereti and Terna, the leading energy providers in the region 
• Robust electrical infrastructure, including a 50MW high-voltage substation and two 20MW medium-voltage substations 
• Designed to support an average power density of 8kW per rack 

MXP2’s advanced cooling solutions will include an N+2 mechanical redundancy system to efficiently manage high-density compute environments while reducing energy consumption. 

• The Computer Room Air Handling (CRAH) units located in two galleries on opposite sides of each data module allow for highly efficient airflow distribution 
• Closed-loop chilled water system with air-side economizers 
• Water Utilization Efficiency (WUE) will be near zero (liters/kW/hr) using the latest cooling design 

Milan II will offer diverse, high-speed connectivity options with carrier-neutral infrastructure, allowing customers to manage their own network needs. 

• Two Meet-Me-Rooms (MMRs) will be available, providing diverse paths and multiple connectivity options 
• The campus will feature three Points-of-Entry (POEs) to ensure maximum path diversity for inbound carriers 
• Multiple fiber pathways will be available, with a minimum of two paths per carrier for added redundancy 

Stringent security and safety measures are hallmarks of every Vantage campus. Our Milan II data center campus will be no exception, so you can rest easy when it comes to the security of your digital assets. 

• A 24x7x365 on-site security operations center will oversee campus safety 
• The facility will have perimeter security gates, fencing, and controlled access points 
• CCTV will monitor all access control points campus-wide 
• Dual authentication (badge/PIN and biometric readers) will be required for access to critical areas 
• A visitor management system will ensure continuous tracking of all onsite personnel

• MXP2 will incorporate seven types of nature-based solutions (NbS) for sustainable stormwater management, including, permeable surfaces, sustainable urban drainage, vertical greenery, rain gardens, infiltration basins and landscape integration
• The campus will feature a multi-species mitigation strip of a variety of trees, along with flowering rustic meadows, enhancing the local ecosystem and supporting phytoremediation 
• Additional sustainability measures will include motion-sensor LED lighting, drought-resistant landscaping, and recycling initiatives to minimize environmental impact
