As country managing director for Vantage Data Centers, Fitri Abdullah is responsible for overseeing the company’s operations in Malaysia, enabling strong growth, managing regulatory affairs and fostering a high-performance culture. With more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Abdullah excels at building results-driven teams and orchestrating stakeholder engagement to deliver long-term customer value and sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining Vantage, Abdullah served as the managing director for Oracle Corporation Malaysia for the last nine years where he successfully transformed the company to be a leading cloud service provider in Malaysia. He led the country’s team in supporting key enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation journey while working closely with the Malaysian government to facilitate the setup of Oracle’s public cloud region in country.
Before his tenure at Oracle, Abdullah was managing director of Mesiniaga Berhad, a publicly listed IT services company, and senior vice president of Maxis Berhad, a leading communication service provider in Malaysia. In these roles, he led teams to drive significant business growth through differentiated offerings, enhanced customer engagement and streamlined business operations. Earlier in his career, he held various leadership roles in consulting and systems integration at Hewlett Packard across the Asia-Pacific region.
Abdullah holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Indiana State University and a master’s degree in computer science from Arizona State University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
