As senior vice president, capital markets at Vantage Data Centers, Rich Cosgray leads the company’s global strategy for capital raising, including debt financing and financial risk management. With more than 16 years of capital markets experience, Cosgray is a seasoned leveraged finance banker with a track record of originating, structuring and advising on financing transactions such as buy-side advisory, acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, development financings, recapitalizations and equity placements.
Earlier in his career, Cosgray served in a variety of roles at Truist Securities, most recently as managing director and head of TMT leveraged finance. With a specialization in digital infrastructure financings across data centers, fiber networks, broadband providers and towers, he led a dedicated team of capital markets professionals focused on providing creative financing solutions for corporate and financial sponsor clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors. During his tenure at Truist, he executed more than $100 billion in debt financings.
Cosgray received Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and accounting from Miami University (Ohio) and participated in the Richard T. Farmer International Business Program in Luxembourg.
