As senior vice president of market development, Michael Stoner leads Vantage Data Centers’ market strategy, site selection, new site development and preconstruction across North America. Since joining Vantage as a consultant in 2014, Stoner has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the company’s U.S. campuses.
Stoner brings more than 34 years of data center industry experience to the Vantage team, having founded and led Lake Street Ventures, a real estate development company. Throughout his career, Stoner earned rich experience working for general contractors to develop retail, apartments, office, hospitality and other unique establishments, starting as a project engineer and working his way up to a project executive. Throughout his career, he has managed and contributed to numerous award-winning projects.
Stoner graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering. He received a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University.
