Rich Cosgray

As senior vice president, global capital markets at Vantage Data Centers, Rich Cosgray leads the company’s global strategy for capital raising, including debt financing and financial risk management. With more than 15 years of capital markets experience, Cosgray is a seasoned leveraged finance banker with a track record of originating, structuring and advising on financing transactions such as buy-side advisory, acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, development financings, recapitalizations and equity placements.

Since joining Vantage in late 2024, Cosgray has overseen transformative growth for Vantage Data Centers’ capital markets platform, raising more than $60 billion in capital globally across North America, EMEA and APAC, while expanding the company’s global lending relationships. His leadership supported complex financings across developed and emerging markets at an unprecedented scale, including OpCo and HoldCo development capital, ABS and CMBS issuances, and innovative liquidity solutions that offered critical balance sheet flexibility and extended runway across regions. These efforts enabled Vantage to continue funding major hyperscale growth projects worldwide while optimizing capital structure, reducing risk and diversifying funding sources across currencies, structures and geographies.

Prior to joining Vantage, Cosgray served in a variety of roles at Truist Securities, most recently as managing director and head of TMT and digital infrastructure leveraged finance. With a specialization in digital infrastructure financings across data centers, fiber networks, broadband providers and towers, he led a dedicated team of capital markets professionals focused on providing creative financing solutions for corporate and financial sponsor clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors. During his tenure at Truist, he executed more than $100 billion in debt financings.

Cosgray received Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and accounting from Miami University (Ohio) and participated in the Richard T. Farmer International Business Program in Luxembourg.
