As senior vice president, capital markets at Vantage Data Centers, Christophe Strauven is responsible for developing the strategy and leading the execution of the company’s global capital raising efforts, including debt and equity financing, as well as financial risk management. Strauven is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and investment banking, serving as a trusted advisor for companies looking to obtain attractive and creative financing solutions.
Prior to joining Vantage, Strauven was a managing director at Digital Colony, a current investor in Vantage, where he was responsible for growing the European credit investment effort. Prior to Digital Colony, Strauven served as managing director at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta for more than a decade working with clients in the data center and digital infrastructure sectors. He advised on and executed leveraged loan and high-yield transactions and helped grow the TMT Leverage Finance Platform tenfold from 2005 to 2018. Before SunTrust, Strauven worked at Goldman Sachs (London) and the Boston Consulting Group (Brussels and Paris).
Strauven earned an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
