As chief legal officer at Vantage Data Centers, Ismail (Ish) Alsheik is responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction for the legal and corporate compliance function for Vantage Data Centers globally.
Prior to joining Vantage, Alsheik was a partner in the mergers and acquisitions group of Jones Day where he advised clients on transactional, corporate law and corporate governance matters. During his time at Jones Day, Alsheik advised on significant transactions for Vantage, including the US$3.5 billion strategic partnership between Vantage and a DigitalBridge-led investor group, as well as the original acquisition of Vantage from Silver Lake Partners in 2017.
He is a member of the Northwestern University Law School Fund Board and sits on the planning committee of the Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate and Securities Law Institute.
Alsheik received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Northwestern University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University.
