As chief financial officer of Vantage Data Centers’ EMEA business, Nick Haslehurst leads the finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting and tax functions for the company. With more than 25 years of experience, Haslehurst is a skilled business strategist with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, foreign exchange and digital payments.
Before joining Vantage, Haslehurst held the roles of CFO and COO at the Moneycorp Group, a London-based fintech payments company. He joined Moneycorp on the back of Royal Bank of Scotland’s Private Equity division buying the company in 2012. During his tenure, Haslehurst led an M&A strategy acquiring several regulated businesses across EMEA, Latin America and North America, including the refinancing of the business, the successful acquisition of two banking licenses and the sale process from Royal Bank of Scotland to Bridgepoint Partners in 2014 for £212m.
Prior to Moneycorp, Haslehurst was general manager of MasterCard’s Global Prepaid Currency Card business, ”Access Prepaid,” where he led the sale of this business from Travelex, an apax private equity investment, to MasterCard in 2011 for $500m. His roles at Travelex included CFO of the firm’s global outsourcing division where he served many global banks with foreign exchange, insurance and currency solutions. Haslehurst also held senior finance roles at Blockbuster Inc. in the UK after completing his finance training at Whitbread PLC.
Haslehurst received his Bachelor of Science in hotel and restaurant administration from Middlesex University, London. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
